Originating in 2003 and initially operating on Windows XP, the early versions were developed to replace numerous standalone controllers prevalent
in thin film deposition systems of that period, and bring the control of all devices into a single interface.
WAVE is currently in its third iteration, now running as a 64bit application with the Windows 10 LTSC operating system on a robust
industrial rack mounted PC and touchscreen.
With the integration of control into a single interface, WAVE software ensures a seamlessly unified experience.
This extends beyond the control interface, with the process environment and all aspects of deposition control integrated into a single controller, it minimises the risk of accidental alterations or changes between processes but also enhances overall system stability and precision.
